Photo(s) of the Day-Chanel Dream!!!!!!!

If Coco Chanel was still alive the Fall 2009 collection would be exactly like it was shown yesterday in Paris.  The cuffs, the collars, the bows and the materials used reflect the eternal dream that is Chanel.  Not only was there a classic display of what Chanel represents but the classic dream man (at least of my dreams) Sébastian Jondeau has made an appearance on the runway as well.  I truly enjoyed the cuff detailing and the surprise splashes of pink sweaters.  Only Karl would find the most interesting way to display the Chanel products, behind a clear plastic handbag.  I have recently read an article stating that the IT Handbags are out and the focus on other accessories, such as shoes, will become much more prevalent.  Is this why Karl has chosen to preserve the Chanel brand in a protective seal?  I do not believe the IT handbags will ever disappear, however they do need to go away for a while.  Anyone with true style knows you do not need the It handbag to have a fabulous fashion sense, in my opinion the future is about individuality and exclusivity.  Mainstream minded robots that follow the pack are out.  Chanel is the kind of inspiration and a classic that will be enjoyed long after our generations are gone.  It is history, culture and true understanding of what women desire.  That is to be free and fashionable so they can continue to pursue their individual dreams.
