Not so secret brushes

ScreenShot045What is the secret to great skin? I might not have an answer to that but I do know that letting worn out and used up makeup hang out in your purse is the secret to bad skin. The best example of this are makeup brushes. Since you use them on your whole face, this is one essential tool you want to make sure is new, clean and made with quality. Even the non-superficial will tell you that neglected skin is not attractive and a turn off.

The best thing you can do for your skin is take the necessary steps to do your best and leave the rest up to mother nature, or your dermatologist. The most common mistakes women make is forgetting to take their makeupimage off at night. No matter how tired you are drag yourself to that sink because you will pay for it the next day.

Now onto the subject of makeup brushes. I have had a chance to try different type of brushes, my current favorite are from Chanel. They are made from 100% natural hair but tend to be on the expensive side.

I am always on a search for a new makeup brush and have recently tried the DermaBrush Collection vegan brushes from DermaQuest. Their brushes are super soft and do not shed, this is a big deal in a world of beauty products. All the makeup brushes are made from high quality synthetic fibers and are naturally antimicrobial. If you are a beauty junkie that is thinking about switching to a more Eco friendly brush this one is for you. My personal favorite is a big fluffy brush called the Kabuki brush and the pro-multi task eye brush for applying eye shadow.  They are both perfect for my purposes, however all their brushes are great to use.
