The month is almost over but as someone who has worked in the mental health field for some time I am aware that October is a National Disability Employment Awareness Month. I never liked the word disability so I chose to cut the dis out and only work with the ability. So pay a tribute to the accomplishments the people around you have made and celebrate the equal opportunity we have in this country.
