Like it or not Vogue Italia & Steven Meisel demonstrate the power images can have on the way most feel about the Gulf oil spill. This is when fashion is showing it is more than the superficial, this is fashion and photography working on something other than selfish frills. The minute it takes to absorb these images you see the point was proven, unfortunately in the world of making a difference it will take a lot more convincing. The beautiful and sad images will be filed away as just a another editorial, maybe not. Here’s to hoping!
