Coco Country

I might not own 100s of Chanel bags but I love Chanel, the person that Coco Chanel was and what she represented.  Mostly I am obsessed with Chanel's costume jewelry, the more vintage the better.  As a country girl at heart I could not be more pleased to see Chanel's runway rolling in hay.  The way I imagine Karl Lagerfeld is someone who embraces hard work and I'd like

As unbelievable as it seems that someone would chose Lindsay Lohan to be the creative energy behind any high-end label, it did happen.  At least I know I did not dream it. The results have spoken for themselves. I suppose the only explanation is that someone has given Emanuel Ungaro very wrong advice regarding the general public opinion on the actress. Ok so I refuse to be

Balmain's Spring/Summer 2010 collection is sticking to its guns and showed more of the same, well with extra golden twists.  I would not expect any less from the fashion crowd pleasing Christophe Decarnin.  Balmain has had a revival since they crowned him the label's designer and the world cannot seem to get enough of Balmain.

Milano-Francesco Scognamiglio star details and drama prevailed.  The most interesting thing on the runway were the masks, I would love to get my hands on those for a shoot.

The Cavalli Girl

Always seems like the confused good girl. This collection is especially channeling the sweet southern belle about to cross into a world of rock groupies.  That is always Cavalli and I happen have to love the I've just been touched by Cavalli detail.  The bangles are to die for, obsessed with bangles for Spring/Summer. The looser fit and layering is always perfect for warmer months, who can
Obsessed

What has been showing up on every fashion obsessed blog? The to die for Sass and Bide Spring/Summer 2010 collection. More specifically, their studded pants is the primary obsession.  Studded studs everywhere. I wonder, is this a fad that will end sooner than later or will be become some sort of an edgy staple designated only for the cool kids. Either way, these pants are armor

The knitted cobwebs that identify Mark Fast have a gotten a bit more interesting.  He has used three plus sized models in his show on Saturday and it has created quite the stir.  Do I love a skinny model?  Yes, however it is so nice to see variety, even a little bit of a curve would do.  This is just the beginning of the what the

A while back in June to celebrate the launch of a brand new le la Moda layout I featured Rachael Mann and Mackenzie Burdick as our It Girls.  The Litter girls were in the middle of developing their jewelry line. Today they are being flown to New York for fashion week.  Their jewelry was used to style and compliment the Christian Cota Spring/Summer 2010 line. The headpieces and body jewelry peeked delicately

It was casual Friday at Ralph Lauren and when it comes to brands nothing has the ability to cheer me up quite like his clean looks.  As the master of marketing Ralph Lauren was inspired by the pioneers of this country, he has of course romanticized the idea and it came out beautifully.  Ironically I planned on wearing my newsboy cap later on today, all I will
