Vera Wang S/S 2011 Collection – the almost all black assembles and burnt orange splashes of color remind me of still warm September. All it means is that some of these looks will stay in style, both in the spring/summer and fall. Seeing a more edgy side of Vera Wang. Currently on my top favorites.

Fashion Week in New York is not always about the glamorous and over the top. Organic by John Patrick proves that a girl in love with exploring fashion also loves to be comfortable in the green. At times I might enjoy the sexiness and glitz in my wardrobe, however this collection is how women want to dress every day.

If you so please the separates are great for mixing and matching with more edgier pieces. You will never be afraid to relax when caught in one of his S/S 2011 designs on a hot hot day.

Little to Big Fashion Efforts

The little to big fashion efforts translate all the way to the details. First came Lincoln Center and then followed digital invitations. More of this year’s Fashion Week invitations are being sent out electronically, earning fashion extra Eco points. Whether they meant it or not the waste of materials and resources used each year will be less and this means less waste to clean up. The system is meant to revolutionize the way fashion shows are being organized. The experience at fashion shows is about to change in more ways than one, from charts to the hassles at door things should run a bit more smoothly. Bye bye paper, the whole world has gone digital. Personally I still miss the occasional old fashioned letter, invitation or a hand written note.

Just sharing a couple of shots from the other night where ‘The Board of Blondes’ held an utmost important meeting at restaurant MASH in Copenhagen, where after we took it to Gallery Asbaek and topped it off with a visit to Simon’s.

I daresay that super urgent matters were discussed and resolved that night. Period. But that is what happens when blondes with ambitions get together and share perspective…
