At first Hugh Jackman shocked me with his talents in singing and dancing however somewhere around the time John Legend’s bland singing started I ran out of patience and could not keep my eyes open. In the end what I will remember the most are the beautiful gowns (with an odd overabundance of cleavage), Jessica Biel’s awful gown (if I can even call it that) and the fabulous chandeliers hanging above. 

 Chanel Spring 2009 Couture

This year’s Spring 2009 Couture collections are divided into two categories, wearable counture and princess ready-aimed towards those fashionistas who feel they were princesses in their past lives (me being one of them) The fairy tale effect of couture fashion is an escape that is needed this year more than ever and the collections most definitely deliver.

It was not so surprising last night at the Golden Globes awards that there were a few fashion victims on the red carpet, but le la Moda would never shame them.  Instead here I will only name the favorites as here we would never dare to look down upon great talent regardless of what they wear. 

The gowns were body hugging, hair screamed elegance and the accessories looked so heavenly chic I could not stop staring.  My absolute favorite was Eva Longoria, she looked as if she could not breath for most of it, but her red Reem Acra dress was worth the lack of oxygen.
