If Coco Chanel was still alive the Fall 2009 collection would be exactly like it was shown yesterday in Paris.  The cuffs, the collars, the bows and the materials used reflect the eternal dream that is Chanel.  Not only was there a classic display of what Chanel represents but the classic dream man (at least of my dreams) Sébastian Jondeau has made an appearance on the runway as well. 

While I plan my escape to France I can always dream in Balenciaga.  What mostly appeals to me is the draping.  The striking colors and details make for the kind of assemble you can practically live in. Maybe even dare to eat in without anyone noticing the slightest difference.  Not to take the attention off of the show however the front row consisting of the Paris and US Vogue team

Roberto Cavalli and Fendi have summed up the shows so far in what seems like a competition in either who makes the biggest shoulders or who can replicate the chicest rock star look there is.  They stood out in a perfect balance between minimalism and a edgy rock star, thus so far making them my favorite of all the shows.  I did not quite get Prada's bulging coats or what
