As I am rummaging through my grandmother’s closet I see a countless number of head scarves that are/were traditionally worn by the past and older generation of Eastern European women. I have always loved those colorful patterns that bring me closer to my culture. Traditionally fashion goes around in circles and likes to borrow from different cultures for inspiration. As it happens I have come upon this Jean Paul Gaultier A/W 2011 ad campaign which has made me want to take all the scarves and wear them with pride. I did borrow one of my grandmothers, still unworn and in its original packaging, scarves that I plan on using with love. Jean Paul Gaultier, you will be my fashion inspiration this fall/winter season to come.
