Do I love Vogue?  Most Definitely.  So naturally when I saw the image of Cameron Diaz in Olsen Haus sandals I was all too excited to share it here.  The vegan shoe brand has been catching the attention of shoe lovers everywhere, not just celebrities.  Olsen Haus is a pure vegan relief for those who do not believe in killing animals for fashion thrills but also do not want to give up style.  These shoes are oh so gorgeous and the June Vogue photo of Cameron looked casually cool as always.  Go to http://olsenhaus.com for more shoe therapy!

In the magic world of Vogue, the French may cover the classics but they know how to revive them as well.  These images, depicting Coco with a twist, have helped me see the classic with new eyes.  I will always love Chanel for not taking herself too seriously, the combinations of looks Coco has left behind cannot be reproduced, only copied. There it was; the 40’s glamour feature staring back at me on the February cover.  Blake Lively is transformed into an old Hollywood movie star and I almost did not recognize her.  The style and photography by Mario Testino is amazing.


If you love to dress up and dazzle the room the classy glamorous sensibility we all desperately need is hinting a comeback on the runways for Spring 2009 and from my humble predictions will be passed onto the Fall/Winter season as well. From the hats covering the cascading glamorous waves to the rich fabrics swinging in the most flattering silhouettes. We will see it all and I simply cannot wait.  In some cases following the economical approach is advised and even though Vogue might call is depression chic there is nothing depressing about it.  Frugal fashionistas might think twice before splurging only to splurge, instead some thought will be put into today’s wardrobes, and that will create a whole new generation of fashionistas.  Images via Style.com
